Research
How can we contribute to making Earth’s ecosystem stable, sustainable and just? Is it possible to reduce the impact of climate change, and if so, how? Focusing on the strategic priority of ‘climate, environment, sustainability’, academics at the University of Vienna are joining forces across disciplines in order to research these key topics.
Environment and Science Research Hub
Over 60 academics from a variety of disciplines pool their expertise on issues relating to transformation, environment and the climate in the Environment and Climate Research Hub (ECH) at the University of Vienna. This cross-faculty research network combines perspectives from natural and social sciences and the humanities in order to generate academically sound answers for the ecological challenges of our time.
