Sustainable food supply at the University of Vienna
At a time when the effects of climate change and resource scarcity are becoming increasingly visible, the discussion about the ecological footprint of our diet is gaining in importance. Switching to a plant-based diet is considered one of the most effective ways to reduce our ecological footprint.
At the University of Vienna, the Sustainable Food Working Group of the Sustainability Advisory Board is actively committed to promoting sustainable food supply. It identifies relevant topics, develops proposals for measures and coordinates closely with the relevant stakeholders in order to help position the university for the future.
